FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
n Fast heat-up, thermal stability, and fine tips make it perfect
for production or rework, in standard or lead-free applications
n Heating element is built into the soldering tip for super-fast
heat-up and recovery
n When you place the WMRT tweezers in the WMRTH Stop+Go rest,
the unit is switched off to extend tip life.
Both micro size handpieces have extremely
short heat-up time and optimum heat transfer
capability.
The following functions are built in to the WD2M power unit:
n Setback time: Allows programming of the number of minutes
(1 – 99), before temperature sets back to idle mode.
n Standby temperature: Allows selection of desired setback
temperature, down to 200°F.
n Temperature lockout: Allows supervisor to easily set
a temperature that cannot be changed by the operator.
n °F/°C switching: Allows the temperature display to read
in either °F or °C.
n Temperature offset: Allows the display temperature to be
adjusted +/- 72°F when working with higher mass tips,
where the temperature reading can be affected by the mass
of the tip.
n Auto-Off Time: Allows programming the number of minutes
of inactivity (1 – 99), before the station powers off automatically.

The micro design employs the use of tip
cartridges with a twin parallel design, so the
tips are always in alignment. With the WMRT,
you are able to desolder very small SMD
components down to 0201.
